vow to wild

about vow to wild

Vow to Wild offers micro batch herbal goods made to share with family, friends and community.

These herbal goods are inspired by Victoria's relationship with the plants, the cosmos, & her need to know what goes on and in her body.

Vow to Wild celebrates the seasons and creates products with locally foraged plants and organically grown herbs from our garden or from small nearby farms.

Some products you can find changing with the seasons are tinctures, whole plant infused oils and body butters, salves, hand dipped beeswax taper candles, & tea blends.

About the Creator:

Victoria grew up in the Hudson Valley’s Black Dirt Region of NY, has spent time living in the beautiful redwoods of Arcata, CA, and now resides in the Catskill Mountains of NY where she lives, loves and creates.
She rejoices in time spent out in the forest and fields observing plants, moving slowly and noticing life happening around her. When not outside, you can find her working at Remedies herb shop in Woodstock, NY where she has worked with the community for the past 4 years. Victoria apprenticed under Aemen Bell at Artemis Rising Herb Shop and is currently studying with the School of Evolutionary Herbalism. She has also found & continues to gather great wisdom & inspiration while learning from herbalists Dr. Elderberry Sulis, Leilani Diaz, friends at Tweefontein Herb Farm, Matthew Wood, Sajah Popham, and Rosemary Gladstar!

"The medicines in herbs are derived from the cosmic forces of sunlight, moonlight, and starlight; from rain and dew and the minerals of the earth's soil layers, as well as the hereditary properties. Any herb can have its medicinal properties analyzed to a certain extent; only the cosmic and the hereditary cannot as yet be measured, which is most unfortunate, for it is in this "streaming spirit" of the herb that most of the healing powers are contained."
